Tile and Grout Floor Cleaning

Tile and natural stone floors are tough and beautiful, but often neglected because they require more maintenance than hardwoods and laminates

We've seen how difficult it is for people to keep their tile and grout clean, and it’s almost an impossible task for a "do-it-yourselfer" to perform correctly. Many homeowners attempt this with vinegar, bleach, and highly acidic cleansers that can etch and damage your grout, making it even more susceptible to dirt, oil, bacteria, and stains!

Shinosaur's tile and grout cleaning division is Delaware's answer to proper care of your hard surfaces. We skillfully accomplish deep cleaning and sealing of tile, grout, and stone floors by using safe cleansing solutions, up to 1200 lbs of pressurized cleaning strength, and state of the art tools. We are IICRC certified to give your tile flooring the absolute best care possible.

Dirt, oils, and germs don't stand a chance!

Our floor cleaning process

Pre-Inspection
Technicians will take note of challenging areas and any pre-existing damage. They will then set the expectations, and come up with a personalized solution for each room.

Area Preparation
We will prepare the areas surrounding your tile floors, making sure not to disturb any carpeting, hardwood floors, appliances, or furniture.

Dry Soil Removal
Our technicians will thoroughly sweep and/or vacuum the entire area, maximizing the results we're able to obtain.

Soil Suspension
We only use high quality products. A safe yet powerful cleaning agent suitable for your flooring is applied over the entire surface and allowed to dwell for 15 minutes.

Cleaning
Complex and difficult areas are agitated manually with a brush. For really challenging areas, a mechanical brush is employed. The entire floor is then cleaned using a state of the art self-contained pressurized cleaning system.

Rinsing
A rinse solution is pumped through the machine during cleaning and sanitizing, which balances the PH of your floor and removes all cleaning residue.

Sealing/Finishing
If you choose to have your floors sealed, the type of sealer is chosen based on the type of flooring you have.
If you're changing the color of your grout, we apply a color-sealer to all grout lines, beautifying and sealing your existing grout.

Post-Inspection
Technicians evaluate results and leave your floors looking their best!

Color Sealing

There are two types of grout sealers, clear or color. A clear sealer is used when your grout is in good condition, and you want to preserve the existing color of your grout lines. Some clear sealers are also "enhancing", which can breathe life back into color-faded tile and natural stone floors.

The second form of sealant is a color sealant that is used in instances where your grout has either been permanently stained, or if you're looking to change the color of your existing grout. Colored sealants come in all colors of the rainbow and are designed to make your floors look new again. The results can be dramatic!
